PST Wins Excellence in Technology Transfer Award
Perceptive Sensor Technologies (PST) FluID™ technology wins the Federal Laboratory Consortium Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer. The FluID™ technology is a propreitary method of identifying any fluid type inside a sealed container or pipeline. This non-invasive method uses acoustic velocity to measure the material density and other acoustic metrics. The patented technology and software are collected in a large proprietary data base. Through a process of acoustic 'Fingerprinting', fluid types are identified and assigned a unique code, or FluID™.
