One of HAWK's original products, the “Rangemaster”, soon became an entire product line, all designed and manufactured to provide level measurement in even the most difficult applications.
In this application, HAWK's Rangemaster unit is measuring the bin height of fine materials coming from crushed stones at a major cement site in New South Wales, Australia. It has been handling extreme dust, vibration and noise from feed out from Crushers. The build-up on the transmitter and walkway is indicative of the dusty quarry atmosphere and harsh environment. This Rangemaster unit was installed 22 years ago and is still in operation today with +/-2% accuracy.
