Some dust, Ore varies in lump size, repose angles vary.
Level Technology Choice:
Since we are measuring large ore lump material, as well as other materials, like wood, etc. that have been removed from the process, a non-intrusive level technology is recommended. Both Radar and Acoustic will work fine in this application. Because the repose angle can vary greatly within the bin, a 15 kHz acoustic transmitter is recommended. Positioning of the transducer should be one-third in from the outer wall, aimed at the draw point of the vessel.
The 15 kHz transmitter can also be supplied in 2 wire configurations as well as Foundation FieldBus, ProfiBus PA, addressing the unique needs of mining and minerals operations. This technology empowers efficient handling of materials, promoting safety and resource optimization.
