Level Technology Choice:
Some of these minerals and mining applications can be handled by a number of different technologies; however, a non-intrusive approach is always a better choice. For the green liquor tanks that can produce scale build-up, low frequency 15 kHz Acoustic transmitters are the best choice. The acoustic pressure wave produced with each pulse will remove scale build-up and condensation build-up.
The low-frequency Acoustic transmitter uses a Titanium diaphragm that has superior cleaning capability as well as high-temperature capabilities to 130 degrees C. We use Carbon Fiber focalizer cones for high temperature and chemical compatibility. These high-temperature transmitters are capable of operating on 2 wire comms network, Foundation Fieldbus, and ProfiBus PA.
