Reliable Loop-Powered Indicators
HAWK's Loop-Powered Indicators are compatible with any device that provides a 4-20mA output and does not need a separate power supply. The most common use for the loop powered indicator is providing an easily accessible field display that indicates the measurement of a loop powered device. The industrial market loop powered indicators may be placed anywhere in the wiring run of the loop so there is no need to walk a long distance or climb a tall vessel to view an instruments display. Some instruments do not include a display at all, so the loop powered display can add this feature to the users installation.
HAWK Loop Indicator (HLI)
The HAWK loop field indicator (HLI) is a versatile field display fully compatible with HAWK Level Instruments and all 2 wire loop analog devices. The fully backlit display shows versatile measurement units of the loop including graphic bar graphs. Voltage drop is minimal. The Display turns red if the Current input is out of range, or if the programmed Hi / Low Current Alarm value is reached allowing potential problematic measurement conditions to be easily detected in the field.
